Pineapple Pen Jar - Perfect End of Year Teacher gift!
It’s super easy to make and looks amazing. You can add a cute tote or beach bag with a personalized pineapple design, some candy and a gift card and you will put a huge smile on your child’s teacher. Teachers work hard all year and we should show them how appreciated they are. When the school year comes to an end most teachers get all kinds of apple related gifts but this one will stand out! It looks like summer, it’s trendy and practical.
This is what you will need:
- Pint Ball Mason Jar
- Yellow spray paint
- Green felt
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Pens, pencils or markers
Start with spray painting the mason jar. Let it dry for at least 24 hours.
In the mean time you can work on the pineapple leaves. Cut them about 5 inches tall and about 2 inches wide on the bottom. They don’t have to all be the same size, it actually looks better if they are not.
Now let’s attach the leaves. We are using markers but you can use pens or pencils as well. Put a line of hot glue on the bottom of your leaf, put your pen on one side of the leaf and roll the leaf around it. Do the same with the rest of your pens.
When your jar is dry you put the pens in it and you are done!
